The candidate must be able to quickly react to changing priorities, effectively lead diverse on/offshore, multi-vendor structured teams, and be able to translate business needs into technical solutions using a wide array of technologies. This project manager must have a keen ability to solve issues and problems and be able to succinctly articulate project status, issues and risks to a broad audience of business users and project stakeholders. • Excellent Project Management Skills • Ability to lead large scale projects including new software deployment, enhancements and upgrades • Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and organizational skills • Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize and quickly react to dynamic business priorities • Innovative, problem solver and solutions oriented Technical knowledge and moderate knowledge/proficiency with various technologies including Oracle Databases and PL/SQL Development, .Net Framework, Java J2EE, Unix, Middleware concepts, Oracle Utilities(Lodestar) • Knowledge of SDLC delivery methodology • Knowledge of deregulated energy markets • Basic financial, accounting and risk management knowledge Must possess 5 to 7 years of project management experience • Ability to accurately estimate and control project costs • Performance management and resource development(seeking and promoting growth opportunities for team members) Ability to effectively lead and interact with all levels of staff and management • Will be working with all levels of client management, internal and vendor teams in both the IT and Business space which will include project updates, presentation of delivered functionality, steering committee presentations and handover to support discussions The individual will be accountable for small to large scale projects for various business stakeholders and IT Clients. This role may requi re direct interaction with VPs and Directors and all underlying management levels at the client site and within the CG organization.
