My C.Crane WiFi is very nice, I like it a lot. I'm really NOT a good critic, though, as I am willing to overlook its shortcomings as the whole idea of internet radio still thrills me . . .
The only real fault I can think of with it is, in Wireless mode, it somehow mysteriously seems to switch from Wireless Only setting, to either wired or wireless (I forget the terminology they use but it's the universal mode). It then refuses to pick up the internet and has to be re-set to Wireless Only. Not a big deal, but it takes 2 to 4 minutes and if I'm just ready to go to bed with the radio in sleep-timer mode,it delays the process . . . I have saved stations into all 99 presets but would wish for a way to scroll up and down these presets; but no can do. You have to punch in each preset individually. Too bad as I envisioned having all my OTR stuff in one bank of adjacent presets, all the jazz stations in another area, etc. Finally, you can more or less fully navigate using the radio controls, or the remote controls. I happen to like using the radio controls, but every push of the big button on the front makes a very loud pop that irritates the lady who sleeps next to me. That is never a good thing. So I have to try to remember at sleepy-times to ONLY use the remote for tuning . . . Finally, I would wish for a little more info on the stations saved on reciva's site Oh and last thing, I wish I had many more hours/day to listen as it is so much fun ef Vancouver
