Now that I have had the experience of getting burned with a Wifi
radio, I am leery of the concept of needing technical support and an
online database to keep my radio functional. My ComOne Phoenix is a
brick since the criminals who developed and marketed it have abandoned
their support of the database.

I am hearing good things about the Pure units, but of course its all
about how well "thelounge.com" works. How good is their database? I
am particularly interested in getting the stations that I used to
listen to by shortwave, such as DWelle, BBC, CBC/RCI, Radio Australia,
RNZI, VOA and RNW. I also like to listen to NPR stations and WRN. I
also want some domestic radios such as WGN and WNYC. I don't use the
box for music programming or playing my local PC content.

Pretty basic requirements.

I don't want to to get burned again!
