This is related to one of my personal "wish list" items... you ought to be able
to "buffer" or use DVR style 30 minute "go back" on most electronic audio/video
devices.  It's mostly a function of some memory and a minimal amount of
programming.  Digital synchronization seems similarly easy at first glance.  

I like the "DelayPlay" but it's a solution that's not worth $199 to me.

One can purchase a gizmo with a built-in, adjustable
analog-digital-analog buffer that allows one to synchronize audio with
digital video, however one now needs to do the reverse for TV in some
instances -- where the radio delay is longer than the TV delay.

Alas, it takes a lot more memory and processing to manage a TV buffer
than it does a radio buffer.
