One of my personal favo(u)rite CBC Radio One programs, the Age of Persuasion, will begin its 5th season on January 8th.
Prior seasons have been available live and on-demand, but have not been available as podcasts. This will change with the 5th season -- Age of Persuasion will be offered as a podcast, presumably after each episode airs live. Live air times include 11:30 AM Saturdays and 2:30 PM Thursdays local time across the various Radio One station feeds, half an hour later in Newfoundland. "Age of Persuasion" is all about the role that marketing and advertising play in our lives; much of the focus of the program is the USA, as we have a storied history of advertising here, but the program looks at advertising through a global lens as well.
