ABC QLD Floods
ABC Local Radio in Queensland is now broadcasting live on Digital
Radio and nationally online, giving all Australians a local
perspective on the devastating floods currently affecting much of
the Queensland.
The broadcast will include 24 hour rolling coverage of the
unfolding events in Brisbane, the crisis in Toowoomba and the
Lockyer Valley and the recovery mode across the state.
The special digital station, ABC QLD Floods, can be heard on
Digital Radio in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide
and streamed nationally online at abc.net.au/emergency

All your favourite ABC Radio services have started broadcasting on
digital radio along with three new music stations - ABC Dig Music,
ABC Country and ABC Jazz, the ABC Grandstand sports channel and
special event radio stations.
Digital Radio is an established broadcast platform in the UK,
Europe and parts of Asia and Australia has begun to switch on to
digital radio, the next generation of radio broadcasting.
Initially, Digital Radio is available in Sydney, Melbourne,
Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with plans underway for the future
