What's funny (to me, anyway...) is there is no mention of Swiss Radio International, which used to be a very decent way to get English language news about Switzerland.
Apparently World Radio Switzerland, which was an English-language station in Geneva that had been purchased by the Swiss public broadcaster, no longer exists on analog radio...it's only available on DAB. And the old agreement that the BBC had with WRS apparently expired when the station's status changed, and a new agreement now exists. So there are two links to view; in chronological order, http://genevalunch.com/2013/08/30/where-how-to-find-news-in-english-in-switzerland-part-1/ and http://genevalunch.com/2013/10/11/wrs-bbc-sign-radio-agreement-update/ --Richard Cuff / Allentown, PA _______________________________________________ Internetradio mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/internetradio To unsubscribe: Send an E-mail to [email protected]?subject=unsubscribe, or visit the URL shown above.
