PhD Scholarship - Ethics and International Politics, University of Hull The Institute of Applied Ethics at the University of Hull invites applications for a 3-year PhD scholarship in the area of Ethics and International Politics, starting in September 2004. Research proposals should envisage a theoretical examination of ethics leading to practical conclusions, which can be applied in the area of international politics. Proposals could address issues such as (but not exclusively) sovereignty, citizenship, just war theory, humanitarian intervention, and human security. The successful candidate will be expected to complete a PhD and contribute to the activities of the Institute of Applied Ethics.
