Colgate University Postdoctoral Fellowship in Peace and Conflict Studies Colgate University's 30-year old, interdisciplinary Peace and Conflict Studies Program [P-CON] seeks to appoint a one-year postdoctoral scholar in Peace and Conflict Studies. The Peace Studies Program focuses on reflexive and critical analyses of peace and conflict. We encourage applications from candidates whose own research addresses both the particular features of a regional/historical conflict, as well as the general intellectual frameworks developed to explain them. We welcome applications from any field in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The Colgate Peace Scholar will teach one course in P-CON each semester, share their research work with the community, and actively participate in the planning and execution of P-CON Program events. Applicants should have received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2004; persons holding tenure-track appointments are not eligible to apply. Ph.D. candidates must have degree in hand by the time of appointment. This position carries an annual salary of $37,500 with full benefits and some research or travel support; there is a possibility of renewal for a second year.
