Conference Themes:
This conference will approach critically the intersection of
cosmopolitanism and international development through two
themes:

- Critiquing the assumed cosmopolitanism of international
  development theory and practice.
- Investigating the ways in which taking more nuanced
  cosmopolitan perspectives can illuminate development theory
  and practice, and reciprocally, how taking a developmental
  perspective can inform a critical cosmopolitanism.

Issues that will be discussed include: Cosmopolitanism as an
ethical disposition, Cosmopolitanism and global governance,
Travelling parochialism, Cosmopolitanism in place, Non-elite
cosmopolitanisms.

- Full registration: £75.00 (£50.00 for doctoral students)
- A limited number of bursaries are also available for
  doctoral students (available on a first come first served
  basis).
