Contemporary moralities are becoming more complicated
systems of valid as well as challenged principles, rules,
norms and values. Presence brings along new moral issues and
dilemmas in our professional, but also everyday life. The
issues are very often discussed in connection with the
crisis of morality and moral values. What are contemporary
moralities like and how do they differ from the past moral
theories, concepts and systems? What are the predominant
moral issues raised today in general, in the specific parts
of Europe, in the world and in various cultures?

Themes include:
- Theoretical reflection of contemporary moral problems
- Contemporary philosophical theories of morality
- Comparison of contemporary moralities with moralities in
  the past
- Morality from the point of view of sociology, psychology,
  ethnology, theology and other disciplines
- Moral issues in contemporary applied ethics
- Comparing the moral systems of various cultures
- Morality in Slovakia, in Central Europe and in the world
