Conference Announcement "Science and Human Nature: Western and Russian Perspectives" International Conference Society of Christian Philosophers (SCP) Baylor University Waco, TX (USA) 6-8 November 2008 __________________________________________________ Since 1993 the Society of Christian Philosophers (SCP) has held five highly productive conferences with scholars in Russia or China on crucial topics standing at the intersection of philosophy, religion, and science. As the result of a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation, the SCP is able to invite key Russian scholars to the United States for a similar conference hosted and co-sponsored by Baylor University. The conference dates are November 6-8, 2008. The topic of the conference is "Science and Human Nature: Russian and Western Perspectives" and features prominent Anglo-American and Russian scholars from the disciplines of Philosophy, Theology, and the Natural Sciences, to include Professors Eleonore Stump and Richard Swinburne.
