Call for Papers "Intercultural Philosophy and the Christian Tradition" Annual Symposium Canadian Jacques Maritain Association Saint Paul University Dominican College of Philosophy and Theology Ottawa, ON (Canada) 22-23 October 2010 __________________________________________________ Does the increasing awareness of ethnic, cultural, religious, and related kinds of diversity suggest the necessity of an intercultural philosophy? What has been the role of such diversity in shaping Christian tradition? Is there a place for religious traditions in building an intercultural or cross-cultural philosophy? This conference proposes to address these and related issues. The Canadian Jacques Maritain Association (CJMA) welcomes proposals from individuals who are interested in presenting a paper at its 2010 fall conference. We invite papers, in English or French, which focus on the conference theme. Papers on related topics are also welcome.
