Does the increasing awareness of ethnic, cultural, religious, and
related kinds of diversity suggest the necessity of an intercultural
philosophy? What has been the role of such diversity in shaping
Christian tradition? Is there a place for religious traditions in
building an intercultural or cross-cultural philosophy? This
conference proposes to address these and related issues.

The Canadian Jacques Maritain Association (CJMA) welcomes proposals
from individuals who are interested in presenting a paper at its 2010
fall conference.

We invite papers, in English or French, which focus on the conference
theme. Papers on related topics are also welcome.

Those who wish to present a paper should send a one-page abstract or
proposal to:

Dr. Walter J. Schultz
1201-1201 Walden Circle
Mississauga, ON L5J 4M1
Canada
Phone: +1 905 823-4490
Email: [email protected]

Deadline for submission of proposals: August 6, 2010. Papers should
not exceed 35 minutes reading time.
