Up to three PhD fellowships are available this year in the 'Power,
Conflict and Ideologies', research cluster at the School of Political
Science and Sociology at NUI Galway.

Potential applicants who are interested in doing a PhD on a conflict
or nationalism related topic are invited to contact the cluster
convener, Niall O Dochartaigh, for further information about the
fellowships and about the research interests of the cluster:

One current research project underway in the cluster is a comparative
study of the negotiated settlement of violent conflict in
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Northern Ireland funded by the IRCHSS.
