Call for Papers Theme: Peace without Boundaries Type: Peace as a Global Language Conference 2011 Institution: Konan University PGL Japan Location: Nishinomiya (Japan) Date: 22.–23.10.2011 Deadline: 18.7.2011 __________________________________________________ Peace as a Global Language will be held on October 22nd – 23rd at Konan CUBE in Nishinomiya (Kansai), Japan. The theme for PGL 2011 is Peace without Boundaries. The Conference Committee invites proposals for original presentations on peace-related themes. As a general guide, disciplines falling under Peace Studies include anthropology, disarmament and the nuclear threat, economics, gender studies, geography, history, human rights and security, international relations, political science, psychology, religious studies and sociology. When submitting your proposal please indicate if you are applying for a workshop (60 minutes), a paper presentation (30 minutes) or a poster presentation. To apply, please send an email with your full name, a biographical sketch up to 50 words, the title and a 200-word abstract of the paper relevant to the conference theme to: [email protected] The deadline for submissions is midnight on July 18th, 2011.
