Call for Papers Theme: Connectedness, Identity and Alienation Type: Inaugural European Conference on the Arts and Humanities Institution: International Academic Forum (IAFOR) Location: Brighton (United Kingdom) Date: 18.–21.7.2013 Deadline: 1.3.2013 __________________________________________________ The Inaugural European Conference on Arts and Humanities offers a true celebration of interdisciplinary study in a stimulating scholarly environment, and in the wonderful physical and cultural surroundings of the Southeast of England. This international research conference will bring together university scholars working throughout Europe and beyond to share ideas and forge working relationships with each other over a stimulating, challenging, and long weekend. The 2013 conference theme is "Connectedness, Identity and Alienation" and the organizers hope that this will encourage and inspire exciting new research avenues, and further encourage academic and personal encounters and exchanges across national, religious, cultural and disciplinary divides. The submission of other topics for consideration is welcome and we also encourage sessions within and across a variety of inter/disciplinary and theoretical perspectives.
