Racism is a social phenomenon that has been existing in different
forms since the dawn of humankind. Due to drastic changes and
upheavals in the contemporary sociopolitical sphere a new form of
racism, mainly directed at the cultural identity of various groups of
people, can currently be observed in addition to the still often-
encountered kind of racism concerned with peoples’ biological traits.

Long after the times of enlightenment and the codification of human
rights, it still remains a distant-seeming goal to actually talk
about a peaceful world. Are the allegations of eurocentrism
justified? Is it possible for differing convictions and world- views
to coexist? How is a world unfettered by racism possible?

This Call for Papers invites students, graduates, doctoral
candidates, and professors of all scientific areas to contribute to
the debate in inter.culture.philosophy’s new issue.

Abstracts (300 words maximum) can be sent for acceptance until 1
February 2016 to: [email protected]. The issue will be
published on 30 March 2016 on http://interculturephilosophy.com
