Call for Applications Type: PhD Fellowship in War Ethics Institution: Department of Law, Philosophy and International Studies, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences Location: Lillehammer (Norway) Date: 2021–2024 Deadline: 12.8.2021 __________________________________________________ The Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences is hiring a PHD Fellow on a project in the ethics of war. It is a fully funded 3 year fellowship, or 4 years with 25% teaching. There is a Scandinavian language requirement (i.e. command of Swedish, Danish or Norwegian). The project needs to be related (broadly construed) to ethical challenges concerning the use of civilian contractors by state armed forces. It could be a straightforward project in applied ethics/ethics of war , but we are also interested in projects that go in empirical/pol.sci or jurisprudential directions.
