- per default, use _SYSTEM/SYS as user/pwd
- enter the ip address of the server you want to connect to (e.g.
127.0.0.1)
- use 1972 ('InterSystems only' port) as the port number (is the default
value)
- enter the namespace = namespace (on that particular server) you want
to connect to, ie USER
On Win95 systems (and maybe on some 98ers as well) you need to have a
USER DSN _AND_ a file DSN when you want to cope with MS tools like
Access or MS Query.
There are two more fields 'data source name' and 'description' or
something similar which is the display text in some Microsoft lookup
boxes, enter something meaningful here.
