Unfortunately I can't think of another way at this point. Here's what I can tell:
- ISC is doing away with %CACHELIB in 5.1, classes will now live in %SYS
- Routines in %SYS starting with %z/%Z get preserved between upgrades
- I suggest we request ISC that classes starting with %z/%Z also get preserved
