Hi Sukesh, I am certain you are right, the instance ID field would be a perfect replacement.
I don't have the luxury of creating an application from scratch, but I am instead moving the backend Access database to cache so I can start further development, whilst letting the existing Access front-end users continue as before. As a result I need to keep the same field names, values and behaviour until I eventually replace all the Access front end functionality with Cache. Thank you for your reply.
