I think what you call the "normal way" is the wrong way. Please look at: https://github.com/ytai/ioio/wiki/Eclipse-Troubleshooting It specifically mentions *not* to import directly from the zip and *not* to automatically copy the project to the workspace. Is that what you're seeing or is there another problem?
