Hello, I'm an experienced Android developer, however when it comes to hardware like this i'm a complete novice, wanting to delve into this side of things, i ordered myself the IOIO-OTG , the https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8734 barrel jack and the DC power adapter for power, HOWEVER, although this would be ok for testing in a fixed location how on earth might i go about powering the board with an external battery for mounting it on a moving vehicle/object. I intend to connect via ad-hoc network to another android device and send networked commands to the board.
