It is hard to tell from the webpage how much voltage is supplied to the
motors. The LiPo supplied 3.25V-4.25V but there's an inductor on the
circuit which is likely used for stepping up the voltage.
In any case, using higher voltage is normally not a problem with motors if
you're running at a low duty cycle. In general, if they're not running too
hot you should be fine.
Do *not* use the 3.3V out of the IOIO for this purpose. It is not rated for
high currents. The 5V can supply up to 3A, which may or may not suffice.
