If you're to use the brain brick of the NXT I'm pretty confident that you
can have it interact directly with the Android over Bluetooth and you don't
need the IOIO in between.
If you want the IOIO to *replace* the NXT brain you'd have to do some
research to figure out the interface of the various actuators / sensors. It
is not granted that it would be easy to control them with the IOIO.
