The important thing is that on the side of the cable that goes into the
Android, the USBID pin is shorted to the GND pin, which is what tells the
Android "you should be host". To my understanding of the USB specification,
only "A" plugs are *supposed *to have this feature and devices that support
host mode are *supposed *to have a micro-AB connector (which can fit either
micro-A or micro-B plugs). In *practice*, however, I've definitely
encountered Android devices which support host mode but have a micro-B
connector as well as corresponding adapter cables which have the host mode
short on their pins despite being "B".
The cables you linked to do not say whether they have the USBID shorted.
However, the one you've linked to that has a micro-A connector is not good
in this case, since you're Android won't fit it. It is, however, a useful
cable in case you want the IOIO to be host.
