Seems like it's a power related issue. When I power my IOIO using an Arduino, it starts appearing as USB device again, and it continues to work normally using my computer as power source, and after few uses it's not detected anymore.
One thing I forgot to mention is that i'm using it for testing with IOIOBridge, so maybe it could be also related to that. Anyway, at least I have a method of getting it to work for now.
