I don't know what that means, but at this point we're out of
IOIO-specific-land, so I'd encourage you to read the PK3 docs or raise the
matter on the relevant Microchip forum.
FWIW, I can testify that it definitely *should* work and can also recommend
that you consider using the bootloader instead.
