As someone who has used transparency a lot (with Eterm), I have to say that it's one of the best demo features and worst productivity features at the same time (much like the Apple Dock, see Tog's columns on the Dock). It looks great, but getting work done is much easier without it. So I would rather see Ion stay away from those features, and let Enlightenment and friends implement them. This is not to say Enlightenment doesn't have its place, only that Ion shouldn't be going in that direction, IMHO. Ted
