If it hangs, check your firewall settings (firefox for some |incomprehensible reason wants to connect to itself using tcp/ip at this |point), and that the list of old downloads hasn't crown huge (firefox has |some really crappy list processing at a few places).
If I click on link tageted in ths same window, notihing happens; if I click on a link targeted in a new window, a new window is open and nothing happen then. Seems that that dialog is disappeared. If I right click on the link and choose "Save link as", the download works perfectly (that's how I'm using firefox right now). I also tried again clearing the old download list as you suggested. Same behavior. My firewall settings allow all local connections. |If it continues working, and even otherwise, can you find the dialog and |attach it to some frame with e.g. Mod1+A? If so, let me know and I'll |write some further debugging Lua code for you to run. Sorry, but I can't. The "Open dialog" does not exists anymore... I've also tried to create a new firefox profile from scratch, just to be sure that the problem did not depend on corrupted preference file. No result.
