OK - so I am seeing the activity flag (act) in the corner when Firefox (on the hidden scratchpad) displays a transient or when urgency sets the urgent flag on the hidden scratchpad. Just to complete the diagnostic set: I'm seeing the tab change appearance on the scratchpad when the scratchpad is visible but the terminal is not on top (i.e is hidden underneath something else on the scratchpad). I'm not seeing anything with the terminal on a 'normal' workspace, either the active one or a second one (even if the terminal is hidden underneath something else). Phew - I think that covers most of the relevant scenarios... John PS - Just confirming that I'm expecting the right thing: Am I right in expecting the tab to change colour if it is onscreen (and the application does not have focus), else the flag to appear to left (until the tab becomes visible at which point it should take on the new tab colour)?
