At home, I'm running ion1 on my personal machine and I run ion2 at the
office. I'd like to run ion3 at the office, but I went back to ion2
because I haven't figured out how to change the color of xterms that one
can open in ion.
I've found that in ion2 I can edit 'ion-runinxterm', 'ion-menus.lua',
and 'ion-bindings.lua' and add the various color switches that I like
(the black on white is a little too high contrast for me). Where can I
do this in ion1 and ion3? I think I've probably just overlooked something.

templates of the relevant files are in the installation tree under
./etc/ion3. do customize either edit these or cp everything to "~/.ion3"
(note the `.').
then look at '~/.ion3/cfg_bindings.lua'.
