The point of the Ion statusbar is, that it squeezes into as little
space as possible, module the workspace layout. I don't think there
should be a toggle feature for such a statusbar, and therefore will
not add real support it. However, as others have pointed out, it is
possible to kludge a toggle. Also, if multi-line support is ever
added[*], it would be natural for the zero-line case to squeeze into
just a few pixels vertically, and then there would be another way to
kludge it... (You could also kludge toggle between single and n-line
versions.)
[*] Just go ahead and implement it, if you want it. I'm not going
to have time for that any time soon.
