Of course the site will remain online, and hopefully the script repository will remain active. And maybe the site could be turned into a poor man's wiki, with contributed extra documentation as has been suggested, and so on. This is not the end of Ion: it just the end of Ion3 development. Ion3 itself can still be extended by users by scripts and additional modules, and other people can continue working on Ion3plus or something like that, which I can moderate contributions to just like before. I just won't be actively working on new Ion code myself anymore for some unspecified number of years. -- Tuomo
