(Hmm... I wonder where the first try wen't.) As a further note, I consider the restrictions on the name use retroactive: this is also an issue of trademark law, and as the author, I am the (unregistered) trademark holder for Ion, Ion3, etc. The new license and copyright law merely act as additional enforcement devices.
