sorry, i know this is probably tinder for a flame war...but i have to ask. according to the earlier email Tuomo linked to, this is "...because of patents that may cover parts Ion and some other WMs as well." which patents are these? is this window manager patent widely known? given that ion is small and open source and tuomo (i'm guessing) isn't rich, the patent holder may not find out about ion or care. given that, apart from political activism, is there any reason end-users should care about this issue? realizing how much he's blissfully unaware of, -Ryan ------------------------------- "The most is how much I front.
