If you're into instant messaging, I recommend: a) Stop using instant messaging, because IM sucks. b) If (a) fails, try out bitlbee (http://www.bitlbee.org). Bitlbee is an IRC to IM gateway. It supports all protocols that gaim does, but it plays nicely with ion, since you access it with your favorite IRC client. -- Boris
