> Any thoughts? well, I also liked to map these buttons in Ion, but in previous thread Tuomo answerd me, that the X headers only define Buttons 1-5, so it's only possible to map the scroll wheel to some functionality in Ion (or only the side buttons without the scrollwheel, if you use xmodmap). I thought, that maybe it is possible to map these buttons to produce some F-keys key press event, but don't know how yet. -- Martin
