Hello,

I've been using ion for a while now - ever since I first discovered it. It's
great - I would never go back to a traditional wm...

I do have a problem that pops up every now and then, seemingly without
pattern. I think it is caused by my pressing some key combination
accidentally, but I have been unable to find anything in the documentation
that would yield the same result.

What happens is: I am working as usual with a set of workspaces, switching
between them with F9. Suddenly, I will try to switch to an existing
workspace but ion acts exactly as if there is no workspace by that name,
as if I had made a typo.

When this has happened, the following can be observed:

* All workspaces *are there*, browseable with alt-left/alt-right, they just
don't seem to be bound to the same names anymore.

* The workspace that was active at the moment I first noticed the problem
*DOES* remain bound to the same name. Hence, that is the only one of all
workspaces that I can adress by name.

* I can create new workspaces with the same names as the workspaces which
used to be bound to those names. There is no "clash"; all old workspaces
have simply turned anonymous.

Sometimes the problem has magically gone away after a while, but I do not
know how or why. Usually I just end up killing and restarting X.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? What is it that I am doing?

Thanks!
