For this Build system, there could be several jobs regarding Jenkins management as follows. - Jenkins server system environment fix such as pre install libraries from build fail. - Resolving (or request to LF) server infra issue from build fail - Build failure for invalid commit (sometime merged without the rebase with the latest) - Jenkins build script configuration (load balance jobs or execute a job in parallel or serially) - Manage the Jenkins job list across branches.
Tasks include not only code base fix but also policy setting. This is why I open to discuss this position as function lead. The second of the requested functions is the Buildsystem one. We'd like to ask a person or a team of people to take on the challenge of overhauling IoTivity- full's buildsystem (currently Scons) and become responsible for reviewing any changes to it in the future. These people will be expected to interact with other developers and Maintainers, helping with their necessities as the codebase evolves. It is possible we change this from Function to Subsystem (and from Function Lead to Maintainer). We're open to suggestions. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago.macieira (AT) intel.com Software Architect - Intel Open Source Technology Center _______________________________________________ iotivity-dev mailing list iotivity-dev at lists.iotivity.org https://lists.iotivity.org/mailman/listinfo/iotivity-dev
