Title : Re: [dev] New filed request for distinguish IoTivity and IoTivity-Lite(IoTivity-constrai
I think it will be better to align the name into IoTivity-Lite for consistent communication.
However, it is not Practically easy to change the repo name from IoTivity-constrained into IoTivity-Lite right now on.

It's a marketing terminology of "IoTivity-Constrained", which means "IoTivity-Constrained" and "IoTivity-Lite" are the same. It will be branded as IoTivity-Lite from now on though,... from the recommendation of OCF Marketing folks.

Hello
Is there anyone can explain the difference between Iotivity-Contrained and Iotivity-Lite?
Thanks

For the issue regarding iotivity-constrained repo, Please use the https://jira.iotivity.org/projects/LITE .
I copied IoTivity-Constrained stack Jira ticket on iotivity jira into iotivity LITE jira.
Thanks Christian/C.J

Title : Re: New filed request for distinguish IoTivity and IoTivity-Lite(IoTivity-constrained)
Hi,
the original idea was to have a 2nd Jira project (it is already there) for constrained.
We should not mix the projects - constrained has totally different modules.
Shall I rename the iotivity-constrained project to motivity-light ?
thanks
Christian

Hi Christian
Could you add the filed to select the system between IoTivity and IoTivity-Lite(Official name from OCF) in jira.
I believe it will be better to follow OCF naming which is IoTivity-Lite instead of IoTivity-constrained.
Margaret,
Could you give your opinion for naming?
