A little historical note. In the 1990s. when Apple had a similar
notebook problem -- Powerbooks caught fire and damaged the company's
reputation at the time -- the problematic Powerbook acquired a funny
nickname inside the company: "The Hindenbook." Inside of Apple, I
was told at the time (thought it may be only part of the Apple urban
legend), the code name for the follow-on laptop model was "The Apology."
