You have to use UDP, the –e option (for enhanced reports), and make sure the
iperf server and iperf client clocks are synched to a quality reference such as
a GPS disciplined oscillator and a high resolution synching protocol such as
Precision Time Protocol. For the latter, I use products by Spectracom.
