I checked that and found that IPS is inspecting all TCP sessions , including
the iperf and the ftp transfer
is there a difference between iperf operation and file transfer using sharing
or using FTP.

I would suggest to check if ips data scanning is triggered by both iperf an by
ftp file transfer.
