Not "well, I looked at the docs and I know it doesn't work and I was wondering

I'm sure it's possible with some major hacking. I wish you the best of luck in 
your endevours.

But at the moment Linux is not supported and I'm getting really sick of a new 
person each week on the list asking how to install IPF on Linux.
