Hey there,

I am using IPF and IPNat on a FreeBSD 4.7 Release system, using loadable
kernel modules. I did it this way rather than compiling into the kernel
because I read somewhere that it is easier to upgrade IPF to a newer
version.

Well... Now the time has come, and I don't know how to do it. Does
anyone have any quick and dirty instructions for rebuilding from source
or from ports? Should I delete old files first? Do I need to stop ipmon
or ipf or ipnat? Where do I place the source, and how do I build it? If
building from ports, does the port put files in new different places?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Adam Lofstedt
