We have NetBackup 4.5 and we got away with opening the following
ports (and configuring the NetBackup clients and servers accordingly):

Server -> Client tcp 13782 keep state

Client -> Server tcp 13724 keep state
Client -> Server tcp 13720 keep state

I'm not the NetBackup admin, so I can't tell you exactly what
was needed to configure the software, but IIRC there was an option on
the clients that said "Connect back to the Server on the
same port it called you" or something like that.

I found docs about this by googling around with the appropriate
search terms.

I still have a pdf lying around, if you want it, email me
off list.
