We are trying to install ipfilter 4.1.7 on one of our Sun Fire V240s
here and are having problems getting the pfil installation
complete. Following the README I was able to build and install the
latest pfil package (solairs make, forte 7.0). The installation of the
package completed with no errors, /etc/opt/pfil/iu.ap looks correct
and the reboot was clean. However when I run the strconf command (
"strconf < /dev/bge" ) I don't see pfil. The ipconfig <if> modlist and
modinsert commands worked ok but I suspect the lack of the pfil in the
streams list is going to be a problem. Anyone have idea what might be
going on here?
