I am very stumped in using ipf-3.4.31 on Solaris 9. We have used the same
instruction notes for several other Solaris 9 systems, but on my most
recent build, I am getting errors referring to libraries which I think are
used in EU locales (we are in North America).
The errors occur when trying to use the ipf or ipfstat commands:
/sbin/ipfstat -i
ld.so.1: ipfstat: fatal: t.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
/sbin/ipf -f /etc/opt/ipf/ipf.conf
ld.so.1: ipf: fatal: et.so.1: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
The package builds and installs okay and the ipf drivers load into the
kernel okay.
I used the non-gnu make for the build.
The libraries in question do not exist on my Suns (the ones with working
ipf or the one with it broken).
Any ideas would be appreciated. I don't have time to wipe the system and
start from scratch.
