Looks like it is time to move :-) It all comes down to how much having the iPhone is worth it to you. One option, if you want the iPhone camera etc (versus the iPod Touch camera) would be to get the unlocked iPhone (new or used) and use it on wifi tethered to your Verizon or other CDMA phone as an "iPod Touch" and then use the dumb phone for phone calls. That gives you the camera and video capability that you seemed to indicate was important.
